This GED Test Preparation course is designed to help learners build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to successfully pass the GED® (General Educational Development) test. The program provides comprehensive preparation across all tested subject areas, Language Arts (Writing and Reading), Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Through clear explanations of the testing format, targeted practice exercises, proven test‑taking strategies, and full practice tests with detailed answer explanations, learners gain a structured pathway to GED® readiness.
Module 1: Understanding the GED Test
Introduces the structure and format of the GED test. Learners review the test sections, navigate the testing system, practice test‑taking strategies, and begin preparation for the Language Arts (Writing) sections using practice exams with explanations.
Module 2: Social Studies & Science Preparation
Focuses on the skills and content areas covered in the Social Studies and Science tests. Learners explore test formats, apply study strategies, and build confidence through guided practice tests and detailed answer reviews.
Module 3: Language Arts – Reading Skills
Concentrates on the Reading portion of the GED test, including comprehension of literary and nonfiction passages. Learners develop time‑management strategies, understand question types, and reinforce skills through targeted practice exams.
Module 4: Mathematics Preparation & Test Success Strategies
Covers key mathematics domains tested on the GED, including number sense, geometry, data analysis, statistics, probability, algebra, and functions. Learners practice problem‑solving techniques and review strategies for overall GED test success and next steps after passing.

This program prepares learners for the GED® test, a high school equivalency credential administered by GED Testing Service.
This class is an independent-study course. Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material. A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.
