    Module 1: Preparing a Differentiated Classroom for Gifted Learners
    Defining giftedness, identifying gifted learners, characteristics of differentiated classrooms, learning needs, and how gifted students learn.
    Module 2: Curriculum Compacting and Differentiating Content
    Curriculum compacting strategies, differentiating content, tiered assignments, learning contracts, and independent investigations (orbital studies).
    Module 3: Differentiating Processes and Products
    Flexible grouping techniques, tiered instructional materials, choice boards, menus of options, and open‑ended learning tasks.
    Module 4: Creativity for Gifted Learners
    Fostering creativity through instructional strategies and models including SCAMPER, the Wallas Model, creative problem solving, and the Williams Model.
    By completing this course, the learner will be able to:

    Identify gifted learners and prepare a classroom designed for differentiation
    Create challenging learning environments by differentiating curriculum content
    Apply the three components of differentiation: context, process, and product
    Implement strategies such as curriculum compacting, tiered assignments, and learning contracts
    Encourage creativity in gifted learners using proven models and problem‑solving approaches
