Module 1: Principles of Real Estate I
Real estate terminology, property ownership types, land use controls and zoning, legal descriptions, and basic contracts.
Module 2: Principles of Real Estate II
Financing fundamentals, property valuation, title and escrow, the closing process, and real estate math.
Module 3: Law of Agency
Agent and broker roles, fiduciary duties, representation types, disclosure requirements, and Texas‑specific agency relationships.
Module 4: Law of Contracts
Contract elements, Texas promulgated forms, offers and counteroffers, breach and remedies, and the Statute of Frauds.
Module 5: Promulgated Contract Forms
TREC contracts, addenda and disclosures, proper contract completion, and common agent errors.
Module 6: Real Estate Finance
Loan types (FHA, VA, conventional), interest calculations, underwriting basics, and financing laws.
By completing this program, the learner will be able to:
