    Module 15: Emergency and End-of-Life Care
    Upon completion of the program, learners will be able to:

    Provide basic patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
    Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
    Assist with medical equipment, patient positioning, and safety procedures
    Support patients’ emotional, social, and psychological well‑being
    Communicate observations clearly and professionally to nurses and care teams
    Follow infection control, safety, and ethical standards in healthcare environments
    Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and reliability in patient interactions
    Upon completin of this program, learners are eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP®), Nursing Assistant Competency Examination. (Administered by each state’s Department of Health or equivalent; exam oversight by Credentia / NNAAP® in most states)
    This class is an independent-study course. Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material. A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.
