    Module 7: Caring for Older Adults, Mothers, Infants, and Children
    Module 8: Clients with Mental Illness and Those Requiring Home Care
    Module 9: Caring for the Client at the End of Life, Emergencies & Employment
    Upon completion of the program, learners will be able to:

    Provide basic personal care and health‑related services aligned with patient needs
    Support patients with daily living activities while maintaining comfort, safety, and dignity
    Accurately document services provided, patient conditions, and progress
    Identify and report changes in a patient’s condition to supervisors or case managers
    Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
    Apply professional standards and ethical practices in direct care settings
    Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and professionalism in patient interactions
    Certification options exist for the state of California
