Module 1: Technician Role, Safety, and Professional Practices
Covers technician responsibilities, workplace safety, tools, measurement systems, and professional conduct in diesel service environments.
Module 2: Engine Fundamentals and Operating Principles
Introduces diesel engine theory, cycles, power concepts, configurations, and basic engine system operations.
Module 3: Engine Mechanical Components and Systems
Explores pistons, crankshafts, valve trains, cylinder heads, and core internal engine assemblies.
Module 4: Lubrication and Cooling Systems
Focuses on engine oil systems, cooling components, temperature regulation, and system diagnostics.

Medium / Heavy Diesel Automotive Technician – Level 2

Medium / Heavy Diesel Automotive Technician – Level 3

By the end of the program, the learner will be able to:

Upon successful completion of the Medium/Heavy Diesel Automotive Technology three course series, students will be prepared to sit for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) national certification exam to become a Certified Medium/Heavy Truck Technician.
