Learners explore anatomical structures, clinical procedures, and CPT® coding conventions to accurately select and apply codes for cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, and nervous system services. This course strengthens system‑specific coding knowledge essential for precise documentation and reimbursement.
Module 1: Cardiovascular System Coding
Focuses on CPT® coding for cardiovascular anatomy and procedures, including major vessels, cardiac chambers, rhythm management devices, and vascular conditions.
Module 2: Digestive System Coding
Covers CPT® coding for procedures involving the digestive tract, including the mouth, esophagus, stomach, intestines, and abdominal structures.
Module 3: Endocrine & Nervous System Coding
Introduces CPT® coding for endocrine glands and nervous system procedures, including thyroid and adrenal services, as well as brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve procedures.
