    Module 1: Understanding Stress
    Explores what stress is, common causes and types of stress, its effects on the body and mind, the role of mindfulness, and how stress impacts children as well as adults.

    Module 2: The Mind–Body–Spirit Connection
    Focuses on holistic stress management strategies, including physical activity and wellness practices that support mental and emotional balance such as exercise, yoga, tai chi, qigong, sleep, nutrition, and natural remedies.

    Module 3: Relaxation Techniques & Body Work
    Introduces proven methods for activating the relaxation response, including guided imagery, affirmations, color and light therapy, massage, and energy‑based therapies to reduce tension and promote well‑being.

    Module 4: Diversion & Perspective Shifts
    Examines healthy ways to relieve stress and restore balance through leisure and lifestyle changes, including hobbies, social support, humor, rituals, spa and home‑sanctuary practices, and effective anger management.
    Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

    Identify common sources of stress in personal and professional life
    Explain how stress affects emotional, mental, and physical health
    Apply relaxation techniques to reduce stress and tension
    Strengthen awareness of the mind–body connection
    Use strategies to manage thoughts, emotions, and reactions to challenges
