Upon completion of the program, learners will be able to:

Learners who complete this program will be prepared to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification exams. The program includes exam vouchers for both certifications.
Note: While this program prepares learners for billing and coding certification exams, some certifications may have additional eligibility requirements. State‑specific licensing or employment requirements may also apply. Students are encouraged to review their state’s occupational board guidelines prior to seeking employment.
This class is an independent-study course. Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material. A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.
