    This program includes a laptop and A Guide to the Human Resource Body of Knowledge (HRBoK) to support certification preparation. Learners are prepared to pursue the Associate Professional in Human Resources™ (aPHR™) certification from HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®), the leading entry‑level credential for aspiring HR professionals.

    The aPHR™ certification requires a high school diploma or global equivalent and no prior HR experience, making it ideal for those beginning an HR career. The credential is valid for three years. To maintain certification, holders must earn 45 recertification credits within three years or retake the exam.

    Many professional enrichment courses offer aPHR™ recertification credits. Learners may review the course catalog or contact the advising team for eligible options.
    This class is an independent-study course. Students will have all the resources needed to successfully complete the course within the online material. A student helpdesk is available for technical support during the course enrollment.
