    Upon successful completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

    Perform daily clinical and administrative procedures supporting physicians and healthcare teams
    Obtain, record, and communicate patient vital signs and medical histories accurately
    Apply safe practices for medication administration and basic intravenous therapy
    Demonstrate correct phlebotomy techniques, including venipuncture, capillary, and arterial collection
    Identify laboratory operations, specimen handling, order of draw, and blood banking principles
    Perform 12‑lead electrocardiography, including correct lead placement and rhythm recognition
    Recognize normal cardiac rhythms, common arrhythmias, and pacemaker function
    Apply anatomy and physiology concepts related to the cardiovascular and circulatory systems
    Follow OSHA standards, sterilization, disinfection, and infection control protocols
    Implement respiratory, TB, and isolation procedures appropriately
    Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
    Upon successful completion of this program, learners will be eligible to sit for the NHA CCMA exam.
