Using current CPT® and HCPCS manuals, learners gain practical skills to determine appropriate E&M levels, code medicine services, apply HCPCS Level II codes, and correctly use modifiers to reflect special circumstances in service delivery.
Module 1: Evaluation & Management (E&M)
Covers patient and service categories, documentation requirements, examination and counseling guidelines, and E&M coding for special populations and scenarios.
Module 2: Medicine Codes
Focuses on CPT® Medicine section coding, including medication administrations, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient education, and specialty procedures.
Module 3: HCPCS and Modifiers
Introduces HCPCS Level II coding for supplies and services, along with proper application of CPT® and HCPCS modifiers to reflect altered or special circumstances in care delivery.
