This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of the principles, concepts, and practices of business analysis. Learners explore the complete business analysis lifecycle, including needs assessment, stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation and analysis, requirements tracing and monitoring, and solution evaluation. The course introduces common terminology, tools, techniques, and real‑world perspectives from experienced business analysis practitioners, helping learners understand how business analysis fits within broader project and product development life cycles.
Module 1: Needs Assessment
Introduces techniques for identifying business problems, opportunities, and organizational needs.
Module 2: Stakeholder Engagement
Focuses on identifying stakeholders and applying effective strategies to engage and communicate with them throughout the analysis effort.
Module 3: Requirements Elicitation
Covers methods and tools used to gather, clarify, and document business and stakeholder requirements.
Module 4: Requirements Analysis
Examines techniques for analyzing, prioritizing, validating, and refining requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with business goals.
Module 5: Requirements Tracing and Monitoring
Explores how requirements are tracked, managed, and monitored across the project and product development life cycles.
