By the end of the program, the learner will be able to:
Perform core clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection safely and accurately
Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and medication administration
Apply mental health awareness and communication techniques in patient interactions
Adhere to HIPAA, legal, and ethical standards in healthcare environments
Record vital signs and support patient intake with professionalism and accuracy
Demonstrate proper 12-lead EKG placement and interpret basic cardiac concepts

Upon successful completion of this program, learners will be eligible to sit for the NHA national certification exam to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
